摘要:
当今社会, 自然危机日益严峻, 已威胁到人类生存, 而自然危机的根源在于世人人类中心主义意识, 解决自然危机的根 本途径在于提高人类的生态意识, 而从生态批评的角度重审经典文学作品, 则能较好的唤醒和提高人们的生态意识。英国19 世 纪的小说家托马斯·哈代就是一位具有深刻生态思想的作家, 哈代的早期代表作《远离尘嚣》则集中体现了他的生态观: 人类和 大自然一样, 都是生态体系的一部分, 相互依存, 平等发展, 人类只有和大自然保持亲密和谐的关系, 才能获得幸福生活。
Abstract:
In modern society, natu ral crisis is becom ing wo rse and wo rse and has th reatened the ex istence of human beings. The roo t stock of natu ral crisis lies in ideo logical and cu ltu ral system s, so the fundamen tal w ay to so lve the p rob lem is to raise peop le’s eco logical con sciou sness. Recon sidering wo rldfamou s wo rk s th rough ecocrit icism can arou se and imp rove human beings’ eco logical con sciou sness. Thomas Hardy, an English novelist in the 19th cen tu ry, has a deep eco logical though t and h is eco logical con sciou sness ref lected in h is early novel Far f rom the M adding Crow d: like natu re, mank ind is part of eco logical system and mank ind and natu re are in terrelated and shou ld equally develop. Therefo re on ly w hen peop le keep a clo se and harmon iou s relat ion w ith natu re, can they en joy happy life.
