摘要:
《占有》是一部新维多利亚小说, A. S. 拜厄特在小说中创造性地再现了维多利亚时代知识女性的真实生活, 还原了被 以男性为中心的传统文化扭曲的女性形象。通过对维多利亚时代女性的书信、日记和诗歌的解读, 拜厄特在小说中展示了被男权 社会边缘化的女性的真实生存状态和心理空间, 解构和颠覆了传统叙事中的男性中心地位, 提出了女性最终将从社会的边缘走向 中心的女权主义思想。
Abstract:
Po ssession belo ngs to the neo- victo rian nov el. Bya t t creativ ely reproduces the true life o f female intellectuals living in the Victo ria n Ag e and rev ives the disto rted imag es o f the female by the t raditional male- dominated culture. Through the let ters, dai ries and poems by the Victo rian females, Bya tt t ries to reveal the truth of existential a nd the psychological sta tus o f those females marginali zed by the pat riarchal society, deco nst ruct and subv ert the male- centered nar ra tiv e di sco urse in the tradi tional tex t and put fo rw ard her feminist 's view tha t females will mov e f rom margin to center in the future society.
