摘要:
霍布斯是现代政治哲学的开创者。自然状态理论是霍布斯研究绕不开的话题。一方面,自然状态上承霍布斯的自然哲学下启政治理论,是其庞大哲学架构的中坚一环。另一方面,对于霍布斯的自然状态的解释还存在诸多的误解与争议。自然状态发自霍布斯对日常生活中人性的观察,进而悬置共同权力后所进行的哲学推演。自然状态下的人并非“原始人”而是沉浸于物质享受的社会人。自然状态的基本特征在于自由与战争。而战争的原因表面上是共同权力的缺失,实然归咎于秩序掩盖下的骄纵人性。
Abstract:
Hobbes is the founder of modern political philosophy. The theory of the state of nature is a topic that cannot be avoided in the research of Hobbes. On the one hand, the theory of the state of nature, which is based on Hobbes’ natural philosophy and leads to his political theory, is a cornerstone of his vast philosophical framework. On the other hand, there are still many misunderstandings and controversies surrounding Hobbes’ interpretation of the state of nature. The concept of the state of nature stems from Hobbes’ observation of human nature in daily life, and is deduced through logical reasoning based on the absence of common power. People in the state of nature are not “primitive humans”, but rather social beings immersed in material enjoyment. The basic characteristics of the state of nature are freedom and war. The cause of war is apparently the absence of common power, but actually the indulgence of human nature under the cover of order.
