摘要:
点石斋成立不久即引入照相石印技术开始大量机械复制传统书画,然后利用申报馆强大的发售渠道将其投入书画市场,最终获得巨大成功。这一持续二十多年的创举在书画市场的两端产生连锁反应:首先,使书画消费群体急剧扩张、沉潜,使得广大市民阶层,有机会、有能力接触到原本只为极少数人准备的艺术品;其次,由于书画消费群体的变化,使得书画创作者的创作观念相应发生变化,以迎合市民阶层的审美情趣。
Abstract:
Soon after its founding,Dian Shi Zhai introduced the technique of photo-lithographic printing to reproduce classical painting and calligraphy in great quantity. With the strong sale channel of the Press, those reproductions sold well which made it a great success. This pioneering work lasted for over twenty years and created chain reactions in market of painting and calligraphy. Firstly, it developed the amount of target consumers and more people from burghers class can have access to buy the artwork which had been originally aimed at minority of people. Secondly, the creation concept of the artists changed with the variation of consumers to cater to the aesthetic taste of burghers class.
