《玉台新咏》作为中古的一部诗歌总集，收录的诗歌跨越两汉魏晋南北朝700 余年，保存了大量具有特色的诗歌意象。
其中部分诗歌意象呈现一个显著的特点: 复现。同时，意象的不断复现导致了第二规约性和公用式固定象征的产生。从女性文
学角度而言，《玉台新咏》对传统的女性诗歌意象进行了继承和创新，为诸多女性诗歌意象转化为公用式固定象征奠定了基础，
对唐五代“艳词”、宋词的相关创作影响深远。
- Abstract:

New Songs of the Jade Terrace is a compilation of works from China＇s middle antiquity，spanning seven
hundred years through West and East Han as well as North and South Dynastic periods． Recurring throughout a
large portion of these compiled works are a series of specialized poetic strophes which beyond their explicit signification
stress an implicit phenomenon of recurrence． This implicit intentionality of recurrence creates a second － order
protocol within New Songs of Jade Terrace． In terms of women＇s poetry at the time，this formulaic order of representation
reinforced inherited forms while at the same time revealing nuanced expression． In this way，New Songs of
Jade Terrace proved highly influential to poetry of the ensuing Five Dynasty and Song periods．
