摘要:: 孔子说不患寡患不均。寡, 即社会物质消费资料少, 这一问题需在全社会物质生产中解决。在马克思主义看来, 生产力的发展就是解决“寡”的问题。但是, 生产力的发展创造了更多的物质财富, 如何分, 则是一个大问题。正是在分的问题上, 形成了阶级、阶层和各种利益集团。不是寡, 而是不均, 使社会划分为阶级, 使历史成为阶级斗争史。在建设中国特色社会主义社会的实践中, 社会财富分配中的均与不均仍然是一个考察社会现实的重大维度。只有以分配为标志的社会公正问题解决了, 才能建设和谐社会, 才能实现可持续发展。

Abstract:: Confucius believ ed that man co ncerns not w ith scarcity but w ith uneven dist ribut ion. T he problem o f “scarcity”means limited material s in the society, w hich needs to be dealt w ith through social material production. From the view of Marxism, the aim of pr oduct ivity development is nothing but to r esolve the pro blem of “s carcity”. Then, how to dist ribute the increasing material w ealth cr eated by a cont inual ly improved pr oduct ivity has become a big issue. It is the distribution pat tern that forms classes, ranks and various kinds of interest gro ups. It is unev en dist ribut ion, rather than scarcity , that made the society different iate into classes, and human histo ry a f ight ing histo ry amo ng classes. Altho ug h China has no classes now adays, even or uneven dist ribut ion of social w ealth is till the only scale to measur e the degree of social just ice for our socialism w ith Chinese characterist ics. It can be said that even to day, man st ill concerns not abo ut scarcity but uneven dist ribut io n. Only after the pro blem of social just ice that sig nif ied by dist ributio n being resolved can w e establish a harmonio us society and realize the sustainable development .
