摘要:
在社会资源共享的时代, 高等院校的一些教育资源已为社会的发展做出了贡献。高校图书馆是高等教育资源的有机组成 部分, 图书馆作为公益性的文化教育、学术机构, 为社会服务是其应该承担的社会责任。高校图书馆有必要转变观念, 强化社会 责任意识, 对社会公众开放, 提供文化教育和信息服务, 从其资源条件看, 也具有可行性。高校图书馆应以科学发展观为指导, 以建设和谐社会为目标, 以适当的服务模式、创新服务方法和服务内容, 参与社会文化教育、科技经济的建设, 为全面提高国民 综合素质做出应有的贡献, 以此体现自身的社会责任和价值。
Abstract:
Co lleg es and univ ersit ies hav e some educat ional resources cont ribut ing to the development o f society . Academic library are integral part of hig her educat ion resources, as public benefit to culture educatio n, academic institutio n, they should take their social responsibility to ser ve the community. Academic libr ar y must change their ideas, strengthen the sense of so cial responsibility , f ree to the public to pr ovide educat ion and informat io n ser vices and it is al so feasible to serve the community judg ing from the preser ved resources in l ibrary . Academic libr ar y sho uld be g uided by T he Scient if ic Concept of Development to build a harmo nious society . And w ith appr opr iate serv ice mo del and innovat ive serv ice approaches, it should part icipate in social educat ion, science and technolo gy economic development in order to impro ve peo ple' s overall quality and make cont ribut ions to the community, as an expressio n of their ow n value and social responsibility .
