摘要:
一般来讲, 研究近代白话文运动, 大都要涉及探讨其兴起的原因, 但恰恰是这个在白话文运动研究中的一个不可回避的 问题, 即其兴起的原因, 却没有引起应有的重视, 绝大数研究者都将白话文运动兴起的原因作为研究该运动的背景来切入, 没有 专门、详细的论述, 因而, 语焉不详。近代白话文运动的兴起, 与以下因素有着很大的关系: 广大仁人志士在民族危机中, 试图 通过发展语言文化来建设一个全新的国家, 以适应近代中国社会由传统向现代的嬗变; 科举制度的废除, 士人阶层的瓦解, 近代 知识分子的形成; 以及文言文的滞后性阻碍了社会的发展和进步。
Abstract:
Generally speaking , study ing o n mo dern v er nacular movement , a larg e study should be r elated to the reasons fo r it s r ise, but it is precisely to this unavo idable pr oblem, that were not giv en suff icient at tention. T he autho r explores that the rise o f modern vernacular mov ement has a great relationship to the fo llow ing facto rs: the majo rity o f peo ple with lof ty ideals of national crisis t rying to build a new countr y thr oug h the development o f a new language and culture to adapt to modern evolut ion in Chinese society fr om the t radit io nal one; the abo lition of the imperial examinatio n system, the collapse of the l iterat i class, the format io n of mo dern intellectual s; and classical chinese hinder s social development.
