摘要:
美国浪漫主义代表作家纳桑尼尔·霍桑的短篇小说《年轻的古德曼·布朗》以精炼、充满隐喻和象征的语言引发了学界 对小说本身所蕴含的深刻哲理和思想内涵的多维度、多视角的深层解读, 小说对清教父权社会、原始自然生态、父权价值体系中 女性角色嬗变有着细致入微的描写, 这与生态女性主义有关父权社会与自然生态和女性意识的关系理论契合, 彰显了小说特有的 生态女性关怀, 即生态自然超灵异象启示下清教徒对父权文化的疏离和反思, 以及女性传统角色突变引发的清教父权意识消解。
Abstract:
The short story Young Goo dman Brown w ritten by Nathaniel Haw thorn, the representat ive w riter o f the American romant ic liter ature, w ith it s profound philosophy and ideolog y f rom the refined, metaphorical and symbolic lang uag e, elicit s deep interpretat ions of mult iple scholast ic dimensions and of various cr it ical po int s. T he subt le descript ion of the patr iarchal so ciety of Puritanism, the primary natural ecolo gy and the change of women' s ro le under the patriarchy echoes the eco feminist theories in tr eat ing the relatio n betw een pat riarchal so ciety , natural ecolog y and w omen's conscio usness, manifest ing the special ecofeminist appreciat ions of the stor y, that is, the puritan' s deviat ion and int rospect ion of pat riarchal culture enlig htened by the t ranscendental my ster y of natur al ecolog y, as w ell as the deco nst ruct io n of puritanic pat riarchal co nsciousness t rigg ered by drast ic alter at ion o f tr adit io nal role o f w omen.
