摘要:: 《幼学琼林》是传统的蒙学课本中内容丰富、形式独特的经典教材。其至少有三大特点: 以成语典故为主要内容, 对收入的上千条成语及其典故都作了简洁而准确的考究和解释, 有利于读者通过学习成语而掌握国学知识; 全文的内容都是用对偶句表达, 语皆求偶, 典必成双, 形式生动灵活, 富有民族性、韵律美和可读性; 以全面地传授国学知识为己任, 较少封建伦理说教。因之, 它具有较高的推介国学知识的价值, 以作古为今用, 应将其适当引入学校基础教育, 在弘扬国学精华中发挥积极的作用。

Abstract:: The bo ok “Children' s Necessary Reading ”w ith it s rich co ntent and unique form is know n as o ne of the classical materials among tr aditional textbooks in enlighten educat ion. It has at least thr ee characterist ics: f ir st , tho usands of idioms and allusions as it s main content w ere ex plained co ncisely and accurately to facilitate r eaders' study o f Sinoog y; second, al l the expressions are rhyming couplet s w ith lively and f lexible form, full of nat ional t raits, beauty of r hy thm and readability; thir d, take teaching Sinology comprehensiv ely as it s responsibility w ithout feudal ethical preaching . T herefo re, it is of g reat value in promot ing Sinolo gy . In order to make the past serv e the present , it should be appro priately int ro duced into primar y educat ion in school .
