摘要:
人类自有文化以来就有文化交流, 不同文化之间的交流必须以翻译为媒介, 因此翻译拥有漫长的历史。在翻译发展过程 中出现了诸如同化、异化、直译、意译等门类繁多的翻译方法和策略。对于这些常见翻译方法和策略进行梳理并厘清其内在关系 对于翻译学习者来说是十分必要的。这些翻译的策略和方法之间既相互联系又彼此有所区别, 从语言本身和文化双重角度来分析 可以得出如下结论: 同化与意译是包含和被包含的关系。同样, 异化与直译也是包含与被包含的关系。
Abstract:
Human beings began their cu ltu ral commun icat ion s as early as they had cu ltu res, and commun icat ion s among differen t cu ltu res can be realized by mean s of t ran slat ion, in th is sen se t ran slat ion also has a long h isto ry. In the cou rse of t ran slat ion, many t ran slat ion methods and st rategies appeared such as domest icat ion and fo reign izat ion, literal t ran slat ion and f ree t ran slat ion and so fo rth. It is rather impo rtan t to in t roduce and analyze these common t ran slat ion methods and st rategies and po in t ou t their inner relat ion s fo r tho se studen t s w ho have ju st began to p robe in to t ran slat ion. O n the one hand, there are some dist inct ion s among these t ran slat ion methods and st rategies; on the o ther hand, there are also some associat ion s among them. Based on bo th language it self and the cu ltu ral facto rs, a conclu sion w as made at last: f ree t ran slat ion shou ld be included by domest icat ion, and in the same w ay literal t ran slat ion shou ld be included by fo reign izat ion.
