摘要:

“空儿”在老舍小说《我这一辈子》中两次出现, 它实际上是弥漫在老舍许多小说中的一种普遍情绪。它是主人公积极 价值在现实面前碰壁后对原有价值的放弃而在心里留下的追求空白, 它又是将原有积极价值向“敷衍”的为人处世国民性格的转 变。内心里留下了空白, 行动却表现为“敷衍”。敷衍是众多国民性格的共有特点, 它既有现实生存压迫的直接原因, 也有传统 文化传承与人性需要选择的内在根源。填补价值空白, 回归积极人格的最佳途径是教育。

Abstract:

“Emp ty Space”ismen t ioned tw ice in L ao she’s novel, A llM y L ife, and it is actually a un iversal mood pervading in many novels of h is. It is a b lank of asp irat ion lef t in the p ro tagon ist’s heart af ter he beat s h is head again st the w all and gives up the o riginal value; it is also the t ran sfo rmat ion f rom o riginal po sit ive value to“being perfuncto ry”nat ional character. In h is heart, leaves a b lank, w h ile in h is act ion man ifest s“being perfuncto ry”. “To be perfuncto ry”, the common character that a great number of peop le have, lies no t on ly in the direct reason of su rvival opp ression in real life bu t also the in ternal cau se of the cho ice of t radit ional cu ltu re inheritance. The best w ay to f ill the“Emp ty Space”of value and retu rn to po sit ive value is th rough educat ion.
