摘要:
新加坡的双语教育在培养高素质人才, 促进经济发展, 增进民族认同等方面取得了巨大成就, 但同时, 存在着母语地位 下降, 语言分流副作用过大、民族文化传统丧失等问题。新加坡双语教育对中国双语教学的启示是: 双语教学应从中国师生的实 际水平出发, 应妥善处理母语学习与外语学习、语言学习与专业学习的关系, 应打造良好的师资队伍, 创造良好的语言环境。
Abstract:
Sing apore 's biling ual education has achieved a g rea t success in fostering high - qualified personals, facili tating the dev elopment of Singapore 's economy and promoting i ts national identity , but meanwhi le there exist some defects: it s mother language being on the fall, its subdividing policy on lang uag e education implemented at early stage of lang uag e- acquisi tio n having evident side- ef fects, and it s ow n national culture being disappea ring. So the implications we got from it are: bilingual inst ruction in China should be based on both it s teachers ' and student s ' levels; such relationship as mother to ngue acquisition and foreig n language learning , lang uag e learning and major learning should be appropriately dealt with; in addition, g ood teaching staff fo rging and favo rable lang uag e environment creation are equally impo rtant.
