摘要:
国际恐怖主义、全球环境问题等非传统安全威胁的出现使国际合作显得前所未有地重要和迫切；全球化的深入则使各国相互了解，增加了国际合作的可能。在这种新的时代背景下，中美有机会创造一种新型大国关系。中美若要超越霸权战争的循环，需相互尊重核心利益，避免意识形态的对抗；有必要建立安全机制，加强军事领域的交流；需要妥善处理贸易纠纷和知识产权争端；应继续推动、扩展文化交流与双轨外交，以便为双边关系提供更广泛的群众基础。
Abstract:
The emerging of non-conventional security threats, such as international terrorism and environmental disasters are currently making international cooperation unprecedentedly significant and urgent. The deepening globalization make every country understand each other better, which calls for international cooperation. In the new era, there exists a chance to construct a new type of Sino-American great powers relationship. To transcend the cycle of hegemony wars, China and America should respect each others core interests, try to avoid an ideological war; it is necessary to construct a safety mechanism and enhance communication in the military area; China and America should handle trade and intellectual property disputes appropriately; they should further promote and expand cultural exchanges and two-track diplomacy so as to provide a mass-supported foundation for bilateral relations.
