摘要:
斋戒为宗教仪式与活动的重要环节，各种宗教多半于不同的时机，举行方式、内容不同的斋戒。西方宗教以犹太教为主要根源，犹太教信徒均能根据经典训示，力行斋戒。即便移居欧洲，地理环境与生产活动不同，仍维持不辍。但基督教传入西欧地区，对斋戒不断修正，其内容与经典往往相去甚远，训导意义也不同。本文即以基督宗教为核心，讨论斋戒与饮食之关联。
Abstract:
Fasting is a common religious practice. Different religions have different fasting times and rituals. People of the Jewish faith follow the fast regulations of the Torah, even when they moved away from their native land. Christianity is related to Judaism and shares certain rules. When Christianity was introduced to Western Europe, Christians based their fasting principles on the Old Testament. As time went on, these principles were revised and amended by certain sections. The Jewish people stayed with their original traditions and their eating habits remained unchanged. In this article, the author wishes to examine the development of fasting rituals in Western Europe.
