摘要:
刘贺家族的直系出自汉武帝，其有名可考者，最早可追溯到天祖刘邦，最晚可下延到曾孙刘会邑。刘贺的祖母是汉武帝特别宠爱的李夫人，被誉为倾国倾城的“佳人”。刘贺的父亲是昌邑王刘髆。刘贺有四个姐妹，而没有同胞兄弟或异母兄弟。刘贺曾受过优良的儒学教育。张敞描述刘贺的相貌是“小目，鼻末锐卑”，但事实究竟如何还值得深究。刘贺至少娶了十六个妻妾，有三十个左右的子女，但见诸记载的却只有三子一女。刘贺被封为海昏侯后，其嫡系子孙一直传承到东汉时期，在南昌乃至江西地区应该有很多后人。
Abstract:
The family of Liu He descended from Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Family members with recorded names can be traced back to Liu Bang, and descend to Liu Huiyi, his great-grandson. Liu He’s grandmother was Mrs. Li, the favorite concubine of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, who was “a lady” with stunning beauty. Liu He’s father was Liu Bo, the Duke of Changyi. Liu He had four sisters, but no brothers. He received good Confucian education. His appearance was described as “small eyes, a hooked nose” by Zhang Chang, however, this still needs further study. Liu He at least had sixteen wives and concubines and about thirty children, among whom only three sons and one daughter were recorded. After he was entitled the Marquis of Haihun, his descendents passed down to the Eastern Han Dynasty and there are many his offsprings in Nanchang and Jiangxi areas.
