摘要:
在公示语汉英翻译方面，广大翻译工作者积极探索，勇于实践，积累了丰富的经验。然而，公示语的汉英翻译现状仍然不容乐观，存在大量问题，严重影响了国际形象。公示语汉英翻译是一种存在于原作者、译者和译文读者之间的三元关系。它涉及社会、文化、认知等问题，因此，与语用能力密切相关。结合实例，从语用学视角深入探讨公示语汉英翻译的原则和技巧等问题，能够提高翻译质量，避免语用失误。
Abstract:
In C-E translation, translators who actively explore and practice, have accumulated rich experience. However, people still should not be optimistic about the status quo of Chinese-English translation of public signs. There are a lot of problems which can seriously influence our international image. Chinese-English translation of public signs is a three-dimensional relationship which exists among the original author, the translator and the target readers. It relates to the social, cultural, cognitive problems. So it is closely related to the pragmatic competence. In-depth study of the principle and skill of C-E translation of public signs from the perspective of pragmatics,combining with examples, can improve the quality of translation, and avoid pragmatic failures.
