摘要:
作为高校教育中的一门基础必修课程，大学英语一直发挥着非常重要的作用。然而，随着国际交流日益加强，大学英语教学也面临着更高的要求，尤其是学生的英语应用能力和跨文化交际能力应该更好地适应社会发展和国际交流。由此，大学英语课程的定位问题亟需重新考虑，从语言的人文性和工具性出发，按照《大学英语课程教学要求》的规定审视该课程，可以拓展其内涵，探索其准确定位。
Abstract:
As one of the basic compulsory courses in higher education, college English has played a very important role. However, with the increasing international communication, some higher requirements have been made in college English teaching. Particularly, students'English practical application ability and cross-cultural communication skill should go with the development of our society and international communication. Therefore, the reorientation of College English course must be reconsidered. From the perspective of language's humanism and instrumentalism, refocusing the course according to the rules in College English Course Curriculum, we may expand its connotation and explore its correct orientation.
