日本华族诞生于19 世纪后半叶，在明治维新后的立宪国家政体中是仅次于皇族，超越“官”“民”普通阶层的新特权
阶层，具有鲜明的时代特征。华族制度的创设和完备为这个新特权阶层在国家政治社会生活中的活动提供了广阔的舞台。华族
阶层所代表的社会主流意识赋予当时的政治文化生活领域以广泛的影响，一定程度上推动了日本近代化的发展。另外，不能忽
视的是，华族阶层作为天皇制立宪政体的“屏藩”具有与生俱来的封建保守反民主特征，在日本军国主义肆虐的百年动荡中扮
演了助纣为虐的不光彩角色。通过华族的历史可以从另一个角度考量日本近
- Abstract:

Japanese aristocracy，born in the second half of the 19th century，ranked next to the royal family in the
constitutional government after Meiji － restoration． The new privileged class which was superior to the ordinary class
revealed the distinct characteristics of the time． It＇s the creation and completeness of aristocracy that provided them
with a big stage to realize their political ambitions． The aristocratic class represented the mainstream sense of society
and widely influenced the political and cultural life of the time in various fields． To some extent，it promoted the
development of Japanese modernization． On the other hand，what cannot be ignored is that the aristocratic class had
the inherent characteristic of anti － democracy as a shield for the constitutional government of the sovereign system．
It acted a shameful role in helping Japanese militarism to arouse turmoil for a hundred years． The lessons of Japanese
modernization can be learned from a fresh angle through the history of the Japanese aristocracy．
