摘要:
唐荆川是明代著名的散文家、百科全书式的学者、抗倭英雄。其学识渊博，又品行端方，受到了朝野普遍的尊敬与赏 识。但其仕途却浮沉坎坷，尤其在其晚年，因受大奸臣严嵩的骨干党羽赵文华的推荐出山为官，虽成就了他抗倭英雄之英名， 但为“清议”家们所不容，以至道德气节名望遭到损贬。究其官场失意、名节受损的原因是多方面的，但最关键的因素，并非 表面上的权臣当国、同道诬言、直谏犯忌、学问未工等，而是由于他的体弱多病，才决定了他的人生充满悲情。
Abstract:
Tang Jingchuan was a remarkable proser，an encyclopedia type scholar，as well as a famous hero resisting Japanese pirates in the Ming Dynasty． By virtue of his rich knowledge and good morality，he was generally respected and admired by the court and the commonalty． However，he experienced many ups and downs during his official career． Especially，during his late life，he was recommended to assume a court official post by Zhao Wenhua， a key follower of Yan Song，a treacherous and powerful court minister，such recommendation although helped him gain the fame of a hero resisting Japanese pirates，he was blamed by the current principled critics，and his reputation was damaged． In fact，there were many reasons behind his disappointed official career and damaged reputation． The main key reason is more due to his weak health，which indeed results in his tragic life but not because of the superficial reasons like treacherous court ministers in power，accused falsely by fellow scholars，straight suggestion taboo，and the doubts about his abundant knowledge．
